We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Architect to join our team. This position offers an opportunity for a self-directed professional who excels in delivering thoughtful, high-quality design solutions across a broad spectrum of building types and client needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of design concepts and oversee the production of design and technical drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants and other disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Manage construction administration tasks including site visits, submittal reviews, and contractor coordination.
- Establish design parameters including code compliance, site constraints, budget, and schedule.
- Present design solutions to clients and represent the firm in city/governmental meetings.
- Direct day-to-day activities of the architectural team, ensuring progress and technical quality.
- Provide detailed architectural documentation and perform quality reviews.
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to the refinement of office standards, details, and production tools.
Qualifications
- 10-12 years of post-graduate experience in all phases of architectural design and documentation.
- Professional degree in Architecture (Bachelor or Master) from a NAAB-accredited program; 4-year Bachelor of Architectural Studies may be considered.
- Architectural licensure required.
- Extensive knowledge of building systems and construction detailing, with a strong emphasis on delivering high quality documentation.
- REVIT proficiency required; familiarity with BIM360, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office is expected.
- Experience with SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- LEED Accreditation preferred.
